We can collect your scrap car free of charge, six days a week throughout Cheshire. Alternatively you can bring your scrap car to our site on Moss Lane, Macclesfield where our friendly staff will be on hand to help with your requirements.
All the cars we scrap are recycled in accordance with EC regulations governing the safe depollution of end of life vehicles. This involves all fluid, tyres, batteries and catalytic convertors being removed before the car is broken down and crushed ready to be transported and recycled into something new.
We have a direct link to the DVLA so will ensure all the necessary paperwork is processed correctly, all we require from you is your vehicle log book and we will do the rest.
We work alongside Cheshire Constabulary and Operation Tornado, which requires all scrap metal customers to produce a copy of their photo ID and payment via cheque.
From 9th May 2012, anyone selling scrap metal to participating dealers in the region will be required to provide proof of their identity − either a photo card driving license including an address, or a passport or national ID card supported by a utility bill, which must be under three months old and show their address.
Payment for all scrap cars is made via Cheque.
